The Tootsie Role!

I was contacted by email on my Facebook page for something a little different, a lot of fun, and requiring lots of sequins!!! Yes, I was asked if I could make the red sequin dress that Dustin Hoffman
wore in the movie Tootsie! He needed it for an "Oscar" party he was going to at the end of February. Wow, what a fun request!  We emailed a few times, then he said that a family member had offered to make it for him. Well, I didn't get the Tootsie role, but how fun would that have been!!!!

Most studios have their dance costumes in, and many will need alterations, embellishments, or repair. On these dresses, I was asked to add the pink satin fabric to the sleeves and the hem, as well as fit them to each girl - whatever your need, be sure to keep me in mind!

I have 13 dresses I am working on for a local dance studio. They all need to have the sleeves and length shortened, requiring removing trim on sleeves and hemline (took me 3 hours last night to remove), adding additional trim, replacing original trim and fitting the dresses as well.
